A Message from Eileen McDonnell, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

I am pleased to announce Penn Mutual’s dividend scale will be maintained for 2018 and our Board of Trustees has approved a dividend award payout of $70 million to eligible policyholders. This will mark the tenth consecutive year we have increased or maintained our dividend scale. A reflection of our commitment to policyholders and strong financial standing, the 2018 payout represents a 21% increase over the 2017 payout.

Penn Mutual’s long-term, mutual perspective and prudent management approach has enabled the company to maintain a position of financial strength since 1847. Today, we are proud to carry on that strong tradition of fiscal responsibility. Thank you for the role you have played in our continued success.
