New York Life has announced their 2016 dividend
Here is a summary of the numbers:
- A total dividend of $1.7 billion will be distributed
- This represents a nice increase since the 2012 dividend of$1.19 billion
- There is no announcement of what the dividend rate is for 2016 (6.25% in 2015)
- 2016 is the 162nd year that New York Life has paid a dividend
New York Life is the largest mutual life insurance company in the U.S. according to Forbes. New York Life has been around since 1845 and has fantastic ratings.
